Zanendaba is Zulu word meaning bring me a story or tell me a story, and is exactly what we do. We bring you a bag full of assorted stories, told in an exciting way to let your mind travel into the extraordinary world of fantasy. Zanendaba Storytellers was founded in 1992 by the legendary Storyteller Gcina Mhlophe in response to the need to revitalise the tradition of oral literature. The name Zanendaba (Zulu) means, "Come with a story" or "Bring A Story". The ancient wisdom of storytelling has the power to entertain, heal, educate, motivate and enhance the well being of people.
